With overhead kept to a minimum, lower prices are passed along to our customers. Our high standards of quality control require the personal handling and inspection of each board as it comes off the sawmill.

The planks are then stickered and air dried. This initial drying process eliminates most of the moisture in the plank before it even enters our kilns. This results in a much higher grade plank. We then dry to an average of 6% to 8% moisture content. At this point we can have it milled into any number of profiles available. The individual boards have either small knots or no knots at all, which makes them ideal for multiple applications. We now offer a cottage grade for those who feel the larger knots and other flaws typical to wood would add an abundance of character to the project of their choice.

Due to the moisture content of our product, you can install it immediately without an acclimation period. This will prevent any change in product dimension and will ensure the best possible flooring application.
